Zeishan Quadri is a multitalented Indian Writer, Actor, Producer, and Director. Born in Dhanbad as Zeishan Qalim Khan, a small town in Jharkhand. He became famous all over the world by writing the story of the film Gangs of Wasseypur. Zeishan Quadri was loved by fans for his performance in Gangs of Wasseypur and his role of definite was admired by the viewers’. Early Life
Zeishan’s schooling is from Wasseypur in Dhanbad. After schooling, he did his BBA from Deendayal Upadhyay Management College, Meerut. He then started a job at a call center in Delhi. Zeeshan had told in an interview that he did not seem to mind here. There was something going on in his mind, during this time he wrote the story of Wasseypur which was only 8 pages. After this Zeeshan left the job and left Mumbai to make a career in Bollywood. Met a lot of directors here but nothing worked out.

Career
Initially, Zeishan worked in a call center (BPO) and HCL computer in Delhi for 18 months before coming to Mumbai in 2008. In the year 2009, Zeishan Quadri moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. Quadri studied world cinema with filmmakers such as Majid Majidi (Iranian film director), Fatih Akin (German film director), and Akira Kurosawa (Japanese film director).
Zeishan finally met film director Anurag Kashyap. When he saw the story, he liked it very much. Anurag assured that the whole film could be made by working on it. Then the film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ was made on this eight-page story of Zeishan, that too in two parts. This film by Anurag and Zeishan has written a new history in the Indian film industry. In this film, Zeishan played the role of ‘Definite’ which was liked by the people very much. The film received a lot of praise not only in India but also abroad. His film received many awards.
Zeishan also worked with Kangana in the film ‘Revolver Rani’ after the success of Gangs of Wasseypur. After this, he also directed the film Meeruthiya Gangsters. In 2020, he was seen in the crime thriller web series ‘Bichoo Ka Khel’ streaming on ALTBalaji. In the web series Bichoo Ka Khel, Zeishan played the role of a foul-mouth cop who is adamant about solving many murder cases, as shown in the web series.
