Vivrant Sharma was born on 30 October 1999 (Saturday) in a Hindu family in Jammu Kashmir, India. His father’s name was Sushil Sharma and he was a businessman by profession and used to do chemical business. His father died in the year 2020, at that time Vivarant was 14 years old. His mother was a homemaker and died when Vivrant was only 4 years old. In his family, there is one elder brother Vikrant Sharma and one sister whose name is Tanvi Sharma.

Career
Vivrant Sharma started taking cricket training from a very young age and after his hard work and continuous efforts, he got a chance to make his List A debut in Saurashtra vs Jammu and Kashmir match on 21 February 2021 at Kolkata. Vivrant has scored 519 runs in 14 List-A matches, which includes one century and three half-centuries. In bowling, he has taken eight wickets, in which taking four wickets for 22 runs has been his best performance. In two first-class matches, he has scored 76 runs and taken one wicket.
He made his domestic T20 debut for Jammu and Kashmir in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Andhra Pradesh at Vadodara on 4 November 2021. Vivrant has scored 191 runs in nine T20 matches played so far with a strike rate of 128.18 which includes two half-centuries. In bowling, he has taken six wickets in three innings, in which taking four wickets for 13 runs has been his best performance.
Vivrant scored 154 runs in 124 balls opposite Uttarakhand in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022. With this, the team of Jammu and Kashmir reached the knockouts for the first time in the tournament’s history. Vivrant completed as the second-highest run-scorer for Jammu and Kashmir in the last season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy with 395 runs at an average of 56.42.

Vivrant Sharma started his IPL career in the year 2023 when he was picked up by Hyderabad Sunrisers with a bid of ₹2.6 crores. While the base price of leg-spinner and fast batsman Vivrant Sharma in IPL was only Rs 20 lakh.
He made his IPL debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad on 21 May 2023 against Mumbai Indians. Vivrant Sharma, batting very well in the match against Mumbai Indians, played an excellent inning of 69 runs in 47 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes.
