Varun Sharma belongs to the city of Jalandhar from where he completed his schooling. Thereafter, he relocated to Chandigarh and completed his graduation in Media, Entertainment, and Film Technology from ITFT, (Institute of Technology and Future Trends) Chandigarh. After that, he relocated to Mumbai and entered in Bollywood industry, and started assisting casting director Nandini Shrikent for films such as Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani and Talaash.
