Tushar Deshpande did his schooling at a private school in Mumbai and did his graduation with a B.Com from Podar College of Commerce and Economics. After that, he was determined to make his career in cricket.
Tushar was very fond of playing cricket since childhood. He started playing cricket while studying in school.
Tushar’s father’s name is Uday Deshpande he also supported him, and he allowed the son to go to the club and learn the nuances of cricket. At the same time, Tushar’s mother Vandana Deshpande also wanted her son to play for the country.
Tushar’s mother “Vandana Deshpande” was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the year 2017, and in the year 2019, she lost her battle with cancer at that time Tushar was playing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League. During the match, Deshpande took four wickets for nineteen runs and dedicated the team’s victory to his mother.
In the year 2007, cricketer Tushar Deshpande along with three to four of his teammates went from Kalyan to Shivaji Park Gymkhana for selection.
He wanted to give a trial to get batting training. But after reaching there, Deshpande saw that there was a long queue of batsmen. About 40 to 45 players are engaged in the line.
While only fifteen to twenty players were engaged in the line of bowlers. Tushar reached at around 3.30 pm on Shivaji Park Gymkhana. At the same time, there was only time till half past six for the selection.
In such a situation, if Tushar would have been in the line of batsmen, then it was difficult that his turn would have come. Deshpande thought it better to stand in the bowling line than to return empty-handed.
He stood in the line of bowlers. The line of bowlers was moving fast. Luckily I got the new ball when it was my turn. I set my run up and bowled. It was a very good outswing and Tappa hit it and went away quickly.
Padmakar Shivalkar sir said that you bowled a very good ball, again bowl like this. But, at his behest, Tushar threw the ball again. He was selected after throwing six-seven balls.
He told that the same process continued on the second and third days during the selection. Then Sandesh Kavale Sir and Paddy Sir boosted their morale. After this, he started playing at Shivaji Park Gymkhana and became a fast bowler.

Career
Tushar Deshpande plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket he was fond of playing cricket since childhood and wanted to become a batsman but he became a bowler.
Tushar made his T20 debut on 1 April 2015 against Orissa and then made his first-class debut on 6 October 2016.
Since 2016, Deshpande has been playing in domestic cricket for his State team Mumbai and has represented the team Mumbai in the Under-16 and Under-19 categories.
He made his List A debut on 19 September 2018 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Baroda where he also took 1 wicket.
He took his fifth wicket in List A cricket on 14 October 2018 in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
IPL Career
Tushar Deshpande started his IPL career with Delhi Capitals in the year 2020 where Delhi Capitals made him a part of their team with a base price of ₹20 Lakhs. He made his debut opposite the Rajasthan Royals (RR) team in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) season playing for Delhi Capitals (DC). In his first IPL match, he took two crucial wickets.
After this, looking at his performance in the year 2022, he was given a chance to play for his team by Chennai Super Kings with a bid of 20 lakh rupees and currently also he is playing IPL season 2023 for Chennai Super Kings.
