Tejashwi Yadav is an Indian politician. He was born in Phulwaria, Gopalganj, Bihar, India on the 9th of November in the year 1989. He is famous for having a political background. He was also a former cricketer who played in IPL for Delhi Daredevils and for the Jharkhand Cricket team. He served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar for the period 2015 to 2017. He is the son of former Bihar Chief Minister- Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi.

He completed his education till class 9th from Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, and then left the school. In the year 2015, he was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly by the RJD party.
From the year 2015 to 2017, he served as the Deputy chief minister of Bihar. In the year 2020, he was appointed as an MLA from the Raghopur constituency with the help of the RJP party. In August 2022, he again took the oath as a Deputy Chief Minister for the second time.
