Sumit Awasthi was born and raised in the city Gautam Buddha Nagar of Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Indore. Awasthi enrolled in Holkar Science College, Indore to pursue a bachelor’s degree in science. After that, he did his post-graduation in journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Delhi.
