He completed schooling at a government high school in Larkana and then went to Government Degree College in Larkana to complete his higher education with a bachelor of commerce. After completing his studies, he started preparing for government jobs but something else was written for him and he was destined to become a famous cricketer and play for his country and represent Pakistan on the world stage.
He was spotted by cricket officials of Larkana Regional Cricket while he was playing tape ball Cricket. He used to work along with his father in the fields to earn the living.
