Saharsh always wanted to be an IAS officer. During his stay in Lucknow, Shukla changed his mind and
opted acting as Kumar’s career, after watching a play at BNA (Bhartendu Natya Academy Lucknow).
In an interview, Saharsh stated, “During my stay in Lucknow, I read a lot of books on career guidance,
and every book had one common advice to give: choose a career that you like. So I started
questioning myself if I actually wanted to become an Indian Administrative Service officer.”
Then, he took admission in BNA for a four-month theatre workshop, and from here, he began his
Bollywood journey. After doing theatres for 5 years in Lucknow, Shukla enrolled for an acting course at
FTII, Pune. During his course, he got his first film, Knock Out (2010) with Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan.
In 2011, he moved to Mumbai, and there, he got a role in a film, Shahid (2012).
In 2014, he was featured in a film, Highway along with Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda. This film
was the first big hit of Saharsh’s career; which changed his life completely.
In 2017, he got a movie as a lead actor in ‘Love And Shukla.’
He has also shot a promo for a game show with actor Amitabh Bachchan.
