Sadhu Yadav is an Indian politician. He was born in Gopalganj, Bihar, India on the 5th of July in the year 1967. His full name is Anirudh Prasad, his nickname is Sadhu Yadav. Both his siblings are famous for being in politics. His brother-in-law is also a famous politician and founder and president of the RJD party. He founded a party called Garib Janta Dal (Secular). He also served as an MLA and MLC in Gopalganj, Bihar, India.

He completed his graduation from Ram Jaipal College, Chapra, Bihar, India. He was in Bihar legislative council for 7 years from 2001 to 2006. He also got the chance to become a member of parliament from Gopalganj for 5 years from 2004 to 2009. He has been part of over 5 different political parties.
In March 2010, he was suspended from the Indian National Congress party for challenging the party’s policies. On the 25th of March in the year 2014, he announced his candidature for the 2014 Lok Sabha election from Saran against his sister Rabri Devi.
