Rajpal Yadav acted in the serial ‘Mungeri Ke Bhai Naurangilal’ which was telecasted on Doordarshan. It was a comedy show where Rajpal Yadav acted as a central character. He performed the character of Naurangilal, brother of Mungerilal, and Raghuvir Yadav played the role of Mungerilal in this serial. The serial was the sequel to a similar television program on Doordarshan, Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne.
His performance in the movie Chup Chup Ke was really admired by the Indian viewers’ and gained him much popularity when one of his dialogues from the movie became a well-known meme (Mujhe Sab Aata Hai, Mai Isko Bilkul Sikha Doonga). Even though Rajpal got success in negative performances, he preferred comic roles, as in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, and he went on to become a productive humorous enthusiast in the Bollywood film industry.
