Prachi Shah was born on 7 February 1980 (Thursday) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and she was brought up in Mumbai. She did her schooling in a Private school in Mumbai, and after completing her schooling she went to attend the University of Mumbai, and from there she completed her graduation.
Actress Prachi is Gujarati Jain by birth but Prachi’s family has lived in Maharashtra for 3 generations. In an interview, Prachi admitted that Prachi did not know how to speak Gujarati, but was fluent in Marathi due to her upbringing. She has a brother named Tejas Shah. She is a prepared Kathak dancer and has performed in dance programs nationally and internationally, Shah prepared in dance with her guru named Ganesh Hiralal Ji, the 7th generation of the Hiralal family of the Jaipur Gharana, and Shah has the Guinness World Record for completing 93 spins in a minute. In the year 2015, Prachi was appointed as the Kathak Ambassador by the Government of India. In the year 2019, Prachi Shah Paandya enrolled in the Cannes Film Festival and moderated a session concerning women in global cinema.
In the year 2000, Prachi Shah made her acting debut in the film “Hey Ram”, which was directed by Kamal Haasan and starred Rani Mukerji, while Prachi Shah appeared as a Lavani dancer. In the same year, she made her TV debut with the serial “Koshish Ek Asha”. In the year 2001, Prahi made an appearance in the soap opera “Manzilein Apani Apani”.
