Patralekha Paul, an alumna of the FTII, Anwita Paul, who is also known by her stage name Patralekha is an Indian film actress and model, who has worked predominantly in the Bollywood film industry. Patralekha made her debut with director Hansal Mehta’s Hindi movie CityLights, alongside Rajkummar Rao, her act in the film gained her the Screen Award for Best Female Debut. Patralekha Paul made her movie debut with a leading character in the drama CityLights, alongside Rajkummar Rao, directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Vishesh Films, the movie tells the story of a poor couple living in Rajasthan, India who moves to Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in search of livelihood. Made on a low budget, the movie became a commercial success and received positive reviews from critics. Patralekha’s next movie, Love Games, was an urban thriller directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt.
