Mahesh Keshwala was born on 9 September 1996 (Monday) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Mahesh was born and grew up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his schooling at a private school in Mumbai and after completing his early studies he went to attended The University of Mumbai, where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) Honours degree, and he was pursuing a company secretary in The Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CSIE). Thugesh is not good at studies and he used to be an average student in school and college.
Along with this, he also began modeling and he has always been fond of acting and modeling. In the year 2014, Mahesh Keshwala created a thug life compilation YouTube channel and Mahesh was the 1st person to make thug life videos on Indians. He finished his B.Com but did not pursue The Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CSIE) as he wanted to focus more on modeling as a career.

In January 2014, Mahesh decided to make Thug Life videos and uploaded them on his YouTube channel “Thughesh”. Initially, it didn’t go well, so he decided to stop making videos, but one day, he noticed that his videos were getting around 500k views, which motivated him to continue making Thug Life videos. Apart from YouTube, Mahesh was also doing modeling and has won many state-level competitions.
Keshwala has been a part of the India Fashion Show and Pune Fashion Week, etc. But one day, his channel was shut down by Youtube, Mahesh also quit modeling due to some reason. This was the most problematic time of his life. The YouTuber removed all his videos on his channel and determined to make face-camp thug life videos and uploaded them on his channel which Mahesh titled “Thugesh”.
