Kannur Lokesh Rahul aka KL Rahul was born and raised in Mangaluru, Karnataka, India. Rahul finishing his high school at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) English Medium School and pre-university at St. Aloysius College. In the same season, Lokesh Rahul represented his country (India) in the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup (CWC), scoring a total of 143 runs in the tournament.
