Kishore Kumar’s interest in films cause of his brothers. When he was very young, his elder brother Ashok Kumar had made his mark as an established actor in the Bollywood film industry, and then later his brother Anoop Kumar Also started acting. Probably because Kishore Da got an opportunity to work in films at an early age. From the beginning, Kishore Da was more interested in watching films, acting, and music than studying, so he did his primary education from his town’s primary school. Kishore Kumar was born on 4 August 1929 in the small town of Khandwa (MP). He was born in a Bengali family and his birth name was Abhas Kumar Ganguly. Kishore Kumar’s father was a lawyer. His name was Kunjalal Gangopadhyay. His mother’s name was Gauri Devi. Kishore Kumar had two brothers and a sister. His brothers were named Ashok Kumar, Anoop Kumar, and his sister’s name was Sati Devi.

His first wife is known as Ruma Guha. He married her in 1951. Ruma and Kishore Kumar have a son named Amit Kumar. He was second married to film actress Madhubala in 1960. Madhubala’s life ended on 23 February 1969 due to heart disease. His third marriage was with Yogita Bali in 1976. However, this marriage also broke up after two years. Kishore Kumar’s fourth marriage was in 1980 with Leena Chandavarkar. He got a son from this marriage, whose name is Sumit Kumar.

Career

Kishore Da made his acting debut as a co-actor in “Bombay Talkies”, After traveling to Mumbai, he changed his name from Abhas Kumar to “Kishore Kumar”. Kishore Da made his debut as a film actor in the film Shikari at the age of just 17 in 1946, while in 1948, Kishore Da made his debut as a singer for the film Ziddi’s song, ‘Marne Ki Duaeen Kyon Maangu’. A few days later, Kishore Da had made a different place in the Bollywood world by his acting style. He then played the lead roles in films like the film Musafir, Naukri, Aandolan. During this time, he received a lot of love and appreciation from the audience for his acting.

The comedy role played by Kishore Kumar was well received by the audience. He appeared in comedy roles in the film Padosan, Half Ticket, New Delhi, Asha, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, which was well received by the people. Kishore Kumar sang songs in films like Munim Ji, Jewel Thief, Nau Do Gyarah with SD Burman from 1954-57.
