Jassie studied at Gobindgarh Public College where Jassie took up 2 practical subjects, physical, music education. Jassie was trained to sing in local youth festivals. Jassie Gill made his acting debut on the big screen with the Punjabi film Mr & Mrs 420. Jassie followed this up with Dil Vil Pyar Vyar. Gill paired with Simran Kaur Mundi and Roshan Prince in the romantic comedy movie Mundeyan Ton Bachke Rahin. Gill signed to make a movie with Gauahar Khan in February 2015, named Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya, which marked her debut in Punjabi movies.
In the year 2015, Jassie appeared in the Punjabi film Dildariyaan. Gill also starred in Channo Kamli Yaar Di alongside Neeru Bajwa. Gill acted in Sargi along with Rubina Bajwa, in the year 2017.
