Ishan Kishan was born on 18 July 1998 (Saturday) in Patna, the capital of Bihar, the state of India. Pranav Kumar Pandey is the name of Ishan’s father, he is a builder by profession and Ishan’s mother’s name is Suchitra Singh, and she is a housewife. Kishan’s brother’s name is Raj Kishan, he is also a former state-level cricketer.
Ishan Kishan was not so bright in his studies that he completed his early studies at Delhi Public School. He was expelled from school for not being serious about his studies.
Because in school, instead of reading his books, Ishan used to draw pictures related to cricket. Somehow he completed his schooling and completed his graduation from the College of Commerce by choosing a commerce subject.
Ishan Kishan used to play as a captain of his school cricket team as well. And to strengthen his cricket skills, he joined Jharkhand Cricket Academy due to the lack of any good academy in Patna.
Ishan Kishan was very enthusiastic about cricket since childhood. And the credit goes to his elder brother Rajkishan for encouraging him towards cricket.
He wanted to make his brother a good cricketer and since childhood, Ishan had a different enthusiasm for cricket. Then came the support of coach Santosh Kumar, who honed Ishan’s abilities like a jeweler.
Though Ishan was from Bihar due to differences between BCCI and Bihar Cricket Association on the issue of registration, Ishan had to play from Jharkhand.
Coach Santosh Kumar advised Ishan to leave the city so that he could prepare to play at a higher level. At the behest of his coach, he started playing for the neighboring state of Jharkhand.
