Kohli worked as an RJ (Radio Jockey) at Radio Mirchi in Delhi, India, from May to July in the year 2011. Himansh made his debut on television with Channel [V]’s daily soap opera Humse Hai Life. Himansh acted the role of Raghav Oberoi, the male protagonist. Actor Kohli was on the show from 5 September 2011-12 June 2012 and left when he was given a role in a feature movie. In May 2012, director Divya Koshla Kumar cast Kohli as one of the lead actors for the Bollywood film Yaariyaan, to play the role of Lakshya. The film was released on 10 January 2014.
