Indian actress Hasleen Kaur was born on 10 November 1988 (Thursday) in a Sikh family in Binnaguri Cantonment, Jalpaiguri District West Bengal, India, and grew up in Delhi, India. Hasleen was very interested in studies and she is also very educated, she studied at Delhi Public School (DPS) in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, in the year 2007. After completing her schooling, she attended the Jesus and Mary College, Delhi (2007 – 2009), where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in English literature.
Along with this, she completed her Post-graduate diploma in Advertisement, Public Relations, and Applied Communication from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi (2009 – 2010), and also she has done a course in acting from the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT), Noida.

Modeling Career
Hasleen Kaur started her modeling career during her studies. In the year 2011, Hasleen participated in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India beauty pageant, where she was the first runner-up. Thereafter, she represented India at Femina Miss Earth, where she was crowned Femina Miss India Earth by Nicole Faria on 3 December 2011. After winning the contest, during an interview, she said, I think Miss India opens doors of various opportunities. It helped me make connections – meetings with actors, producers, directors, and choreographers, and I was already modeling.
Before becoming Miss India, I was just a face in the modeling industry. But after Miss India, I started getting invited to Showstopper Week and Fashion Week. People knew me by my name. If you want to break into the glamor industry then one of the best things about Miss India is that it serves you whole on a platter. Later, she was signed by Kwan, a Mumbai-based talent management agency. In the year 2011, model Hasleen was featured on the cover of Femina Fashion magazine.
Hasleen likes the French style of dressing. She also prefers simple red lipstick on beige, white, flowy, and well-fitted outfits. In the year 2016, Hasleen walked the ramp during Lakme Fashion Week. Hasleen Kaur made her acting debut in the Bollywood Film Industry with the 2009 film titled “Love Aaj Kal”, in which Hasleen played the lead role of Harleen’s sister. Talking about this to the media, during an interview, she said, I did a small cameo in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ in 2009. That was the first time I was working, and I never thought of getting into acting, just being on set and understanding the chaos and craziness of filmmaking. According to numerous sources, Hasleen was approached to play a prostitute named Chanda in the Bollywood 2009 film Dev D.
However, she declined the offer as she did not want her first lead role to be bold. In the year 2014, Hasleen acted the lead role of a character named Preet in the Bollywood film named “Karle Pyaar Karle”. In 2022, she appeared in the Bollywood film Mili as a character named Hasleen.
She reportedly took Rs 55 lakh for the film. In 2023, she played the character of Minny in Luv Ranjan’s film titled “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar” starring Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Anubhav Singh Bassi, and Dimple Kapadia.
