In the year 2003, handsome Gautam made his ODI (one day international)debut against Bangladesh and played his first Test the following year against Australia. He was the only Indian and one of four international cricketers to have scored 100’s in five consecutive Test matches. During Asia Cup in the year 2010, Pakistan’s cricketer Kamran Akmal made a loud appeal against Gautam Gambhir, which made Gautam angry and they had a heated argument, but Umpires and players intervened to stop them. In the year 2012 Gautam’s captaincy, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won their first IPL title and went on to win the title again in the year 2014. Handsome Gautam Gambhir captained the Indian team in six ODIs from late 2010 to late 2011 with India winning all six matches.
