Disha Madan was born and brought up in Bangalore the city of Karnataka the state of India in a Hindu-Brahman family. Her father Madan S Iyengar and her mother Ashwini Madan. After finishing her schooling Disha joined Mount Carmel College in Bangalore, Karnataka, India to pursue her graduation.
