Chirag Paswan is an Indian politician. He was born in New Delhi, India on the 31st of October in the year 1983. He belongs to a political family. He has a background in engineering. He wanted to become an actor since his childhood and made his debut in the year 2011 but it was a big flop. So after the failure of his film, he shifted to politics and made his political debut in the year 2012. He is also famous for being the son of Late Ram Vilas Paswan an Indian politician from Bihar.

He completed his schooling at Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi, and graduated from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. He holds a graduation degree in B. Tech in computer science. He started his political career in 2012 by joining the LJP. In the year 2014, he won the Lok Sabha elections from the Jamui Lok Sabha Constituency of Bihar. Then he became the chairperson of LJP’s Central Parliamentary Board.
In the year 2019, he was re-elected for the position of MP from the Jamui Lok Sabha Constituency of Bihar. And on the 9th of November in the year 2019, he was elected as the National President of the LJP.

His father’s name is Late Ram Vilas Paswan, former Chief Minister of Bihar, former Cabinet Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Administration, former MP of Lok Sabha, and remained president of RJD, a political party in Bihar, India.
