Chamika Karunaratne is a very famous Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the National Sri Lankan team in all three formats of cricket which are test cricket, one-day internationals, and T20 International Cricket.
He was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka on the 29th of May India 1996 in a Christian family. His father’s name is Louis Karunaratne and his mother’s name is Veena Karunaratne he has two brothers whose names are Dinuka Karunaratne, and Niluka Karunaratne.

He completed his schooling at a local private school in Colombo and then went to Royal College in Colombo, Sri Lanka to complete his higher education and graduation. He was very much interested in playing cricket since childhood and made his first-class debut for Tamil Union cricket and athletic club on the 18th of December in the year 2015 at the Premier League tournament. He made his debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team at the International level in February 2019.
