Early Life
Amitabh Bachchan’s father did his MA in English at that time, due to which special attention was given to education in his home from childhood. He was equally interested in studies, he was very smart. Amitabh received his early education from Gyan Prabodhini, Boyce High School Allahabad. Amitabh was then educated from Sherwood College, Nainital to high school. He completed his education at Kirori Mal College, Delhi, where he received the degree of Bachelor of Science and Arts.
After completing his studies, he went to Calcutta, Amitabh worked with a shipping firm in Kolkata in 1968. he worked there for seven years, after that he came to Mumbai. Amitabh applied for a job at All India Radio but was reportedly denied due to his heavy voice, the same voice has now become his identity. Amitabh was earlier named Inquilab but he was named Amitabh at the behest of poet Sumitranandan Pant, his father’s companion. Career
The megastar Amitabh Bachchan made his Bollywood debut in his 1969 film Bhuvan Shome directed by Mrinal Sen. Amitabh Bachchan was not seen in Bhuvan Shome but his voice was used. In 1969, he was given the first break by director Khwaja Ahmed Abbas in his film “Saat Hindustani”. The film was a failure. After this, he worked with superstar Rajesh Khanna in Anand(1971), In which he was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for the role of Dr. Bhaskar Banerjee.
Early Career
Bachchan later worked in the film Parvana in 1971, in which Bachchan played the role of a villain. After this, he worked from Bombay to Goa in 1972, Namakharam in 1973. Zanjeer was also formed in 1973, Which was a film directed by Prakash Mehra. In this film, he earned the title of Angry Youngman. The film was a huge hit. After this, he never looked back. In the following years, he gave many major hit films like Deewar (1975), Sholay (1975), Kabhi Kabhi (1976), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Trishul (1978), Don (1978), Natwarlal (1979), Apart from this, he has done great films like Suhag (1979), Shaan (1980), The Great Gambler (1980), Kalia (1981), Silsila (1981), Namak Halaal (1982), Shakti (1982), Coolie (1983).
During the shooting of the film Coolie in 1982, an incident happened with Bachchan. Due to which his bowels were hurt and Bachchan was injured, Bachchan’s life was in danger in this film, but the love of people and the help of doctors saved Bachchan’s life.

From 1984 to 1987, Bachchan took a break from films for some time and he went into the world of politics with Rajiv Gandhi. Bachchan contested elections from Allahabad Lok Sabha’s seat and he defeated the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister H.N. Bahuguna but Bachchan later retired from politics. Bachchan’s closest friend is Amar Singh. After leaving politics, Bachchan gave many hits to the Hindi cinema and won many awards.
Bachchan also worked as a director of films Bachchan founded Bachchan Corporation Limited named ABCL The purpose of which was to make the Hindi cinema and entertainment industry popular in products and services for all classes. In 1996, Bachchan launched a film at the box office titled “Tere Mere Sapne” but the film failed to do anything and failed. But later Bachchan took his career forward. Bachchan brought the films “Badhe Miyan Chhote Miyan” and films like Surya-Vansham, Lal Badshah, and Hindustan Ki Kasam, etc. which did not prove to be a hit. Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati show became a big hit on television. All its seasons proved to be very hit.
